NAMI SLO COUNTY

In Our Own Voice

Every person with a mental health condition can hope for a bright future.

NAMI In Our Own Voice is a presentation given by people who speak openly about their lived experiences of mental illness. Presenters are trained to educate the public on the highly stigmatized topic of mental illness. They show that it is possible to live well with a mental health condition, answer questions to deepen understanding about mental health conditions, and address misconceptions about mental illness.

The presentation is free and can be delivered in a 40, 60, or 90-minute session.

Visit the NAMI National website for more detailed information.
