COVID-19 Information
Dear NAMI San Luis Obispo County members and friends,
The COVID-19 public health crisis is unlike anything we have experienced before, and we hope you are taking care of yourselves and your families. Now that our county is experiencing “community transmission” of COVID-19, I want to make sure that you know that NAMISLO and NAMI California are working diligently to respond to this pandemic as it evolves by keeping up with guidance from the CDC, local Public Health, and County Behavioral Health Department.
With an abundance of caution, we are implementing plans, to the best of our ability and understanding, that will keep programs running and keep our members and participants safe. We know that social distancing is our best defense for the spread of this virus. For your safety and that of our leaders and teachers we must exercise care and caution at this time. Until further notice, support groups and Family-to-Family classes will be held on Zoom.
